I learn design by doing. My first “client” was my dad, a jazz drummer who was gracious enough to let me get reps working on his album art. I mixed computer science and fine art in school, a combination that turned out to be perfect for making interfaces.
I believe design is a lifetime pursuit. My heroes kept working into late life, always sharpening their craft. I started in agencies to grow alongside other creatives and solve problems for diverse clients. Today, I lead teams designing for health, where the systems are complex, the stakes are real, and the results matter beyond the pixels. My approach is simple: jump in, get a reaction, keep moving.
When I’m not designing, I’m digging into the latest longevity trend, walking the golf course, listening to jazz, or traveling with my wife, camera in hand.
